Boon Oude Geuze Black Label Edition #1 75cl

Black Label: Full bodied taste and a dry finish, a perfect combination!
Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is a perfect example of BOON pushing the boundaries of lambic beer. A dry finish combined with a large body is a big challenge. But the result is a pleasant, complex and well balanced Oude Geuze.

Black Label “Limited Edition” (2015)
Oude Geuze Boon Black Label has been bottled in March 2015. It is made out of a selection of lambic from old oak barrels, foeders, with the highest fermentation degree. The fermentation degree of almost 100% makes the Oude Geuze Boon Black Label extra dry. The 1,2 and 3 year old Lambic used to create this Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is also exceptional. It is the first Oude Geuze made for at least 99% lambic which was brewed in the new brewhouse, built in 2012-2013. The new brew house was officially opened on 19 April 2013. To obtain a blend with enough 3 year old lambic, 1% lambic of the old brew house was added. The first label of Oude Geuze Boon, now 40 years ago, has been the inspiration for this label. Geuze lovers and fans from back then will recognize the bold white letters “Geuze Boon”.
