Mixture of 1, 2, 3 and 4-year-old lambic fermented and aged in wooden barrels. During the refermentation, the young yeasts are ‘doused’ or put to sleep, so that the original lambic taste is preserved. The Golden Doesjel also contains 25% lambic from 4 years of maturation, which gives this beer the fine typical taste of old lambic. This beer pours without foam, just like lambic. Lambic is brewed with 60% barley malt, 40% wheat, old hops and water.
